Band- Kneeling Crunch

Hip & knee joints DO NOT MOVE

Only come up to parallel

 

 

Band- Standing Crunch

Keep knees soft

Only come up to parallel and don't release abs at top

 

 

Cable Crunch

Only come back up to horizontal

Keep knees soft

Use Abs only to crunch down

 

Cable Side Bends

Keep hips perfectly still

Only come up to vertical

Don't use arms at all

 

Stick Side Bends

Keep hips perfectly still

Very slow & controlled movements

Don't "twist" upper body at all

 

Rotary Torso Twist

Sit up tall, lock ankles

Squeeze knees to pads

Use obliques only to move

 

Stick Twist

Keep hips facing forward

VERY slow & controlled

Use obliques only to twist

 

Roman Chair

Keep knees together

Tilt pelvis up so tailbone comes off pad

 

Hanging Knee Raise

Curl your pelvis so knees come toward chest

Don't release abs at bottom

 

 

Ab Roller

Keep core extremely tight

Keep shoulders down

Keep abs contracted throughout
